Those who know me, know I love experimenting with AI. I only have a subscription to ChatGPT, Canva, and NightCafe, but I do test out as many as I can. Some are a bit pricey, and I am not a wealthy person, so I usually test and experiment with the free versions.
If I could afford it, or “when” I can, I would for sure subscribe to the app that made this video for me. I know there are others, but so far I like this one. I have tested this little welcome message several ways, with different voices and photos of me or generated photos of me into a style like above.
I have tried both the British accent and the American accent, since I am British, my accent after being here since age 13, is there but slight now, and it still amazes me that I run into people who ask me if I am British without my saying so. Apparantly certain words still carry a bit of an accent, enough for a savvy travelor to detect. Unfortunately, I wanted a voice to depict this, but the British voices are heavier British than mine is now, but I chose this one anyway.
I also tried cloning my own voice when I first discovered VIDNOZ (an affiliate link) but in order to actually clone myself properly for videos like this, I would need a paid subscription, so I am perfectly fine for now, using a voice that is not mine. I did manage to get my own voice onto a couple of the test vids when I first joined as they give you a few pro credits to start you out.
